‘Cuentos de una Ciudad II’ is an ongoing urban series from Tenerife-based photographer Seigar. Made up from individual images taken this year during visits to London, each image captures a photo-narrative. Most of them are spontaneous instants, they are linked only because of the saturated colours, details and free compositions. The series revisits common motifs found in Seigar’s work: reflections, shop windows, plastic people, abandoned objects, lines, geometry, light & shadow, food and people. “This is London for me. The old city becomes young in my tales; this is how I look at it. There is always something unexpected going on and here you have the proof.”
