Kara Vorabutr is a photographer and artist based in Los Angeles. Her photography, all shot on 35mm film, is a documentation of daily interactions with light and objects in comparison to time, shapes and happy accidents – to highlight the joys of everyday life. Kara says the source of her work is based both on a heavy connection to her origins and to her designated location in that instant. This series is from her upcoming 100-photo monograph called ‘Domestic Pleasures’, a culmination of her work from the past five years spent soaking up the sun.
