Guen Fiore is an award-winning Italian photographer specialising in creative and portrait photography. Guen’s work centres on the representation of the human figure. This is evident in both her personal projects and her professional works, particularly in the fashion field where her focus is on defining the true nature and inner beauty of her subjects.

Every subject is not merely captured, but rather transported into a story. The result is a tale made up of subtle gestures, gazes and non-verbal elements that reach out and touch the observer’s feelings and emotions.

“I scouted Valentina some years ago. We’ve been in touch since then without ever meeting, but I’ve always had an instinctive admiration for her. Early this year, I decided to challenge myself with something different from what I am used to doing. I wanted an ‘authentic’ subject, so I wrote to her. When you are around Valentina, it strikes you immediately what a skilled athlete she is but, even more powerfully, a passionate and strong-willed woman. She is a Crossfit athlete who works hard everyday and competes internationally. Even more admirable are her ethics – she loves sport in its truest and purest form, as something that brings you joy and empowers your feminine body to do incredible things.”
