Theresa Lekberg lives and works in Sweden. In her art she explores the behaviours, peculiar needs and instincts of the human state. Death, life and erotic expression in photography, video work, painting & writing. Creating ceremony and rites to find meaning and belonging.

Theresa’s photo series Anima is a play of the unconscious and subconscious aspects of the human state. The archetypes, the male and female principles, the animal. Where dream, desire, instinct, senses, the innocence and the erotic intertwine and reveal a space of in-between worlds with uncanny and alluring creatures.

Enjoy…
