Nuno Serrão is a Portuguese photographer, cinematographer and creative director. For Nuno’s Photo/Foto debut, we are featuring images from one of his recent series, Inland Morocco.

“In Morocco, the dichotomy between civilizations is not as visible on the surface as in other mixed-race countries, but it’s there. It’s interior and it’s people, are an ode to the resilience and minimalism.

All my life I’ve found comfort in minimalism, both aesthetically and as a way to live. After I was diagnosed with Asperger’s, I started to understand why minimalism was so important to me, I needed to control the flow of information into my head, and that, I think, explains in part my minimal compositions. The feeling of wonder that only an unknown road can provide explains my love for road trips.”

Enjoy…
