David Mondedeu was born in Houston, Texas and now lives and works in Madrid, Spain. David specialises in creating polymer photogravures, a beautiful technique that we talk about in David’s featured folio from earlier this year.

David’s recent project, One Side Will Have To Go, is an artist book, consisting of fifteen polymer photogravures printed by David on Arches Velin 270gr. and Charbonell ink. Ten copies and three artist’s proofs have been printed.

“Slowly light strengthens, and the room takes shape.

It stands plain as a wardrobe, what we know,

Have always known, know that we can’t escape,

Yet can’t accept. One side will have to go.”

Philip Larkin

Enjoy…
