By day, Alessandro Marongiu is a literary critic and agent living on the Mediterranean coastline of Italy. He does not describe himself as a photographer, simply saying that photography is a medium which allows him to express himself in a way that he cannot with words alone.
My Mind Is Dangerous is a new series that Alessandro shot with artist Stelladiplastica. The title and the inspiration for the series was drawn from a song by band Life of Agony and is an interpretation of how it is to be, or to feel, different from what is deemed to be ‘normal’.
Hideous devastations, lifeless serenity
My abstract emotions, somehow, get the best of me
Lord take away my sorrow, Lord take away my pain
Erasing life tomorrow, ain’t the motive to the game
My mind is dangerous, that’s who I’ll always be
Enjoy…
